Class of dangerous goods

We undertake dangerous goods, mainly 2,3,4,5,6,8,9

Dangerous goods fall into nine categories All goods that are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, radioactive or contaminated, and that require special protection because they are likely to cause human casualties and property damage in the process of transportation, loading, unloading or storage are dangerous goods. I. explosives 2. Gas This class of goods means compressed gases, liquefied gases, dissolved gases, cryogenic liquefied gases, mixed gases, mixtures of one or more gases and the vapors of one or more substances of other kinds, gas-filled articles, tellurium hexafluoride, aerosols. Flammable liquids This category includes: flammable liquids and liquid desensitized explosives. Flammable liquid is a liquid or liquid mixture that gives off steam when the closed cup flash point test is 61 ° c (equivalent to the open cup flash point of 65.6 ° c) or below 61 ° c, or contains a solid or liquid in solution or suspension state (for example, paint is flammable, but different transport modes can determine the applicable flash point of this transport mode, not less than 45 ° c.(e.g. paints, varnishes, real lacquers, etc., but excluding substances that have been included in other categories due to other hazards) Liquid desensitization explosives are explosive substances that dissolve or suspend in water or other liquid substances to form homogeneous liquid mixtures to inhibit their explosive properties. For example: perfumery products containing flammable liquids (perfumes) CLASS:3,UN NO:1266; Painting CLASS: 3, the UN NO: 1263 Flammable solids, substances prone to spontaneous combustion and substances that give off combustible gases when exposed to water This category relates to substances other than those classified as explosives which are flammable under conditions of transport or which are likely to cause or cause fire. 5. Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides 5.1 oxidizing substance These substances do not necessarily burn themselves, but they may be contained in a single object, usually by emitting oxygen that causes or facilitates the combustion of other substances. Toxic and infectious substances 6.1 toxic substances These substances are liable to cause death, serious injury or damage to human health if swallowed, inhaled or in contact with skin. 6.2 infectious substances This cargo refers to substances containing pathogenic microorganisms that can cause illness and even death. 7. Radioactive materials This class of substance means any substance containing radionuclides in which the concentration and total activity of the consignment exceeds the level of activity specified in the IMDG CODE. Eight. Corrosion products This class means substances which, through chemical reactions, can seriously damage biological tissues in contact with them, or substances whose leakage from their packages can also cause damage to other goods or ships. Domestic dangerous goods regulations of this category are divided into three categories according to chemical properties: Item 1 acid corrosion products (Corrosives presenting acidic properties) Item 2 of alkaline corrosion products (Corrosives presenting alkalinous properties) Item 3 other corrosive (other corrosives) Miscellaneous substances and articles This category of goods means substances and articles of a hazardous nature which are not included in the eight categories of hazards and Marine contaminants which are present in the course of transport. The above classification of dangerous goods is based on the latest "international maritime dangerous goods CODE (2006 edition)" (IMDG CODE) set 33 (due to China's translation of dangerous goods CODE, the implementation is two years later than the international). The code is a necessary reference book for ships, safety supervisors, carriers, shippers and their agents, managers of shipping companies, ship inspectors, manufacturers of dangerous goods, manufacturers and inspection units of dangerous goods packaging, port operators and management personnel engaged in the carriage of goods by sea.
