APL Trans-Pacific Market – Guam and Saipan Enhanced Service Offering

We are pleased to inform that APL has enhanced our network services to bring you improved connectivity and faster transit into Guam-Saipan, via APL's weekly U.S. flagged Eagle Express 1 (EX1) service.

With the updated rotation of EX1, connection to Guam-Saipan is now faster, with just 16-day and 18-day transit from Oakland and Los Angeles into Guam respectively. Cargo will now arrive Guam on Mondays, with cut-offs for Oakland on Fridays at 03:00, and Tuesdays at 19:00 for Los Angeles cargo.

What's more, drawing on APL's 170-year strong heritage, EX1 will be deployed on vessels christened with former U.S. Presidents' names.

As we rotate the new President-named vessels into EX1 service, you will notice some variation in arrival times to Guam until all President-named vessels are in place. Please note the following schedule with key dates so that you can make your bookings accordingly:

As cutoffs may vary according to the vessel voyage, please ensure to check again at time of booking

Once all President-named vessels are in place, the following standard schedule will apply:
